OBEClust has been awarded the EASO World Obesity Day Europe Award for Best Collaborative Project, recognising the value of coordinated European research efforts in obesity prevention and management.
The cluster brings together nine EU-funded research initiatives, including SHIFT2HEALTH, to strengthen collaboration, exchange expertise and increase the collective impact of research across Europe. Through joint activities such as shared communication, stakeholder engagement, workshops and webinars, OBEClust promotes a coordinated approach to addressing the complex and multifactorial nature of obesity.
The award highlights the importance of partnership and cross-project collaboration in building a stronger and more coherent evidence base for effective and sustainable public health action.
