Shift2Health at the 18th European Public Health Conference 2025

26.11.2025

Our consortium members presented first insights from the Shift2Health online survey at this year’s European Public Health Conference in Helsinki.

The Shift2Health consortium participated in the 18th European Public Health Conference (EPH 2025), held from 12-14 November 2025 at Finlandia Hall in Helsinki, Finland, under the theme “Investing for sustainable health and well-being.”

We are pleased to share that Prof. Magdalena Wrzesińska (Medical University of Łódź) and Dr. Bianca Fuchs-Neuhold (FH JOANNEUM) presented early results from our online survey on health, well-being, and stress among night shift workers across different sectors.

Their presentation offered important first insights into how night shift work affects perceived physical and mental workload. Preliminary conclusions indicate that:

  • Occupational health programs for night shift workers should be gender-specific, and
  • Stress management interventions are essential to improve both mental and physical workload perceptions.

We look forward to sharing more findings as the project progresses!
